Self Love

To love yourself is to be self centered. You can have no friends when lacking it, as you will damage others. Holding yourself without confidence is selfless, and with it you can hold no one’s.

I use the phrase self centered in a positive, self-affirming way. I’ve seen the damage the lack of self love can bring upon someone and those close to them.
